I wouldn’t be surprised when some of these Instant Flight tracks wind up on the next Quinten Tarantino movie. The characteristic sixties songs sound killer, opener “Running Around” would have fit perfectly on the soundtrack of Reservoir Dogs. Most of the tracks are formed around a clear defined psychedelic atmosphere. There are few musical outbursts, but the diversity between the tracks and the variety of musical influences make “Colours & Lights” an interesting buy for progressive rock fans also. | |
They will surely appreciate the intensive use of moog and melotron sounds by keyboard player Lucie Rejchrtova. This London based foursome has come up with one of the most interesting psychedelic prog-rock albums of this year. (Geert) |
