I’m not going to spend many words on this Magna Carta compilation album since five of the nine Mike Portnoy songs are taken from Liquid Tension Experiment releases and three are taken from an already released tribute album (ELP and Rush). If you want to check out Mike Portnoy in action, you’re better off buying one of these albums instead of this cheap compilation.

The only positive thing I can write about this album is that it reminded me on just how good Liquid Tension Experiment is. If that was Magna Carta’s intention one could consider this Prime Cuts edition to be a success.
