If it weren’t for the weak production and the dull vocals of lead vocalist Stockwell there would probably be enough instrumental power to make ‘Slave To None’ worth listening to. Sadly after a couple of minutes of listening my attention starts to drift away. The promo states that you must listen to the album more than once to catch everything. I for one tried a couple of times, but I never managed to listen to the entire album. So it could be that the so called swirling, exotic and percussive parts did go past me without me even noticing it but so be it. | |
One of the few tracks that did make a positive impression is ‘ETA’, but the song is so basic that everyone could have come up with it. On the other hand while listening to the other songs one could consider ‘ETA’ a small miracle. Totalisti, forget the name, you probably will never here from them again. (Geert) |
