Its always nice to hear that there is a new record coming out of one of the most extreme death metal bands from our own country. This time the blasphemy comes from Houwitser that started out as a band with Sinister and ex Sinister members. And now after two releases for Displeased Records the new “Rage Inside the Womb” is going to be released by Osmose Productions which promises better times, I hope. The debut “Death…but not Buried” already was a great release but with their previous “Embrace Damnation” they convinced many more metal heads.

And on the new “Rage Inside the Womb” Houwitser doesn’t surprise any moment. The typical drum style of drum player Aad and the shredding guitar riffs of Michel and Alex that sometimes refer to past times make this a fine release (title track). New vocalist Stan is doing a great job and can cope up with previous grunter Arjen. The double guitar parts in the songs, the samples and the great production (Excess Studio’s (with their typical sound)) finish this release of.
