This is nice, this is different! What a way to open an instrumental album. Heavy rhythms with the most gentile of gentile guitars evolving in a true guitar rock epic. This is something you don’t come a cross very often. After a mere five minutes you find yourself thinking, wow, I totally understand this guy. His music makes sense; I can even understand the album title!
Drifting off into higher spheres, propulsed by strong rhythms, truly enjoying Enevoldsens high pitched soloing. | |
I can’t yet say that I find every single composition on the album as interesting as the opener, but obviously some of them need more attention than others. What I do like is the fact that with every track Enevoldsen took the effort of adding some original theme to it that draws immediate attention. The real beauty lies in the simplicity of this addition, a single off beat, a strange guitar lick, a funky bass line: brilliant.
