The last few albums I heard from Victory Records were very good and very much hardcore/metal. But I don’t know exactly what the label is doing with this release. The Forecast play indie rock music (as they call it in their bio). I just call it pop rock with sometimes a tiny bit of punk and emo core influences. The music is played well and sometimes it is catchy but this is simply not my kind of music and I don’t think this is the band for the people who visit this site but I gave it a try. | |
As I said before The Forecast play pop rock with different kind of influences. The guitarist and the bass player are taking care of the vocals. Shannon’s (female bass player) voice sounds really nice and it fits the catchy music. After 4 songs the album starts to become really boring. The music they play is all the same and nothing special. For the pop rock people this album is a nice album to listen to. (Jeroen) |
