Unicorn Digital really surprised me with their latest release, Little King’s “Virus Divine”. I was expecting some complex instrumental experimentation, but in stead was overwhelmed by easy listening popular prog rock with an eighties edge. You will have no problem hearing some Rush or even some The Cure references here.

This album features eight tracks characterized with uplifting at sometimes even close to marching drum rhythms, fresh guitars and emotional vocals. Too bad none of the songs really stands out, this could have raised the rating by a point.
