Exactly three years ago I wrote a favourable review of a release by Norwegian progressive melodic rock band Pedestrians of Blue. Their “Circles Of Butterflies” was in fact the first release I rated 9 out of 10 points. You can imagine my excitement when the second release “The Second Monologue” fell on my doormat. Despite the fact that I love all the songs on this 2005 release, I was slightly disappointed to find out that in the three years that have passed the band has only come up with three songs. That’s one song a year! I soon found out that the band has in fact written twelve new songs and this EP was pimairy intended to persuade record companies to contract this promising act.

Listening to the EP, it’s obvious that Pedestrians Of Blue don’t need a record company to record songs; all three tracks were recorded in the bands home studio and sound excellent. What this band needs is some proper promotion. I’m convinced that this band will command all the money spend on proper promotion. Check out the new songs on the bands website www.pedestriansofblue.com and get convinced by their modern progressive rock.
