This Norwegian band has massive attention everywhere in the world due the wonderful music feeling and the careful management. This CD is their new attempt to bring us to the world of fantasy after their previous release ”Celestial Entrance” in 2002. Charming “The Celestine Prophecy“ opens the doors and you begin a rhythmic trip through the forgotten kingdoms, charged with the enigmatic mission, searching for something true and travelling through strange reincarnations of the world order. The CD is really loud, filled with unbelievable powerful melodies and tunes.
The vocalist Nils K.Rue bursts into the songs like a nightingale, trying to suggest that there’s a place to the heroism in our life, picturing fantastic kingdoms, spaces and distances. | |
Angry guitars, playful drums, thoughtful bass… intro-refrain-chorus-outro…
Doesn’t it remind you anything else to you? Yes, it feels like typical power-album with standard wonderful ballads (“Searching For Life”) like everything else you have heard before in Helloween, Edguy, Stratovarius and maybe Dream Theatre. Standard, but really beautiful... Beautiful, but standard.
Well, in one word, if you liked “Avantasia”, if you need another one, don’t think twice, Enigmatic Calling waits for you.
