Eternal Flight is a reincarnation of French heavy-metal band Dream Child with an impressive stream of new blood. Dream Child’s vocalist and main songwriter Gerard Fois along with the differently influenced musicians Christophe Offredi (guitars), Nicolas Jeanpierre (bass), Alexandre Stellini (drums) and Sebastien Vibert (keyboards) formed a band, having taken the name from a Dream Child’s song, in June 2002 and recorded “Positive Rage” with a little help from a drummer Arnaud Gorbaty (Alkemyst) and Luigi Stefanini as a mixer. And if you liked Dream Child, you will not be disappointed or bored. This record has all the “firm” things: the full, greasy galloping riffs, boiling emotions, combining progressive thoughtfulness and the power straightness at the same time, the charming heroic vocals, the trilling solos plus the magic gift of a melody inside.

PS. And also one little fly in the ointment from me: there’s nothing new for you here and, if you consider yourself a metal head, you probably will be able to recognize many other bands in this record. Just imagine: a fighting eagle on the cover…
