Sometimes I wonder whether I’m the right person to review albums for Rockezine. If I were to guess my average album rating on Rockezine I think I give eight points on average. Some of you might explain this rather high average as kissing the asses of record labels. Well for those of you, just forget about that. I simply love music. My definition of good music is music that gets to you, music that makes you move or music that makes you weak. Mogul fits in with this definition perfectly.

The poppy guitar rock and the catchy vocals are reminiscent to popular bands like Coldplay and Keane, but Mogul definitely has more balls and most important of all, this band creates sounds that do not bore you to death after giving the album a third or fourth spin. The only small criticism I could think of is that the compositions aren’t very original, but that is also one of this album’s biggest power. This is without a doubt one of the best albums I reviewed for Rockezine ever!
