This live album was recorded at the The House Of Blues, Myrtle Beach, USA in September 2004 and spans the highlights of the song writing and performing skills of three of the most exceptional musicians in blues and rock during the last 30 years. Pat Travers on guitars, Carmine Appice on drums and T.M. Stevens on bass, these have seen it all. For me, this ‘live experience’ started out promising because of the way the reactions in the crowd were captured during the recording giving it the right atmosphere.

The disappointment finding out that this recording wasn’t an integral reproduction of the show - the reaction from the crowd and the talk between songs was abruptly cut out - followed shortly. This criticism aside I must say that there is a lot to enjoy on this release. Great songs, catchy performances and proper production (not overdone) make “Live At The House Of Blues” a worthy addition to anyone’s cd collection.
