Metal Blade is signing a lot of new metalcore bands lately. Of course one can’t deny the fact that this is a very popular genre at the moment. However, The Black Dahlia Murder isn’t a new band on the Metal Blade roster. In 2003 they released “Unhallowed” (their Metal Blade debut) and in 2002 they released a MCD through Lovelost Records.

The new album of The Black Dahlia Murder is called “Miasma” (which is some kind of illness, and why the album is named after this you should be able to read in an interview soon available on this website).

Miasma is not very different from the band’s previous effort. The solos are still very good and the music is slightly heavier while the vocals are still pretty cool and brutal. Aren’t there any changes? Yes, one thing has changed: they’ve got a new drummer. To listen to a part of the album go to www.metalblade.de and enjoy!!!
