The new single “Photograph” is 100 percent Nickelback. The band has a distinctive sound, which is quite something to today, but somehow I find their songs a little bit hollow, their sound meaningless. All songs are too much alike and lack any form of excitement.

In this way Nickelback strongly resembles the band Live, although their singles are usually a little bit more powerful.

So “Photograph” isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I must admit that this song is very catchy and is certain top five material. Oh, and the B-side, the “We Will Rock You” Queen cover isn’t prove of much originality either.
