2003 was the year in which one of the best progressive rock albums of this new millennium was released: “Présages” by the French band Nemo. At that time Nemo gave me a feeling I only remembered from the old days when music moved me in so many different ways.
“Présages” was followed by “Prélude A La Ruine”, a somewhat rougher album that somehow just didn’t catch on. Now the band has released its first ever live cd called “Immersion Publique”.

The album features eight tracks, recorded on 23rd of April 2005.

It’s amazing how Nemo managed to release a high quality live album within only five months. I know bands that need twice the time to produce an album half as good. I was delighted to find out that the songs from “Prélude A La Ruine” turned out better than expected. “Immersion Publique” is a high quality recording of a high quality band. Highly recommended, without a doubt the best live album of 2005!
