The previous Most Precious Blood album “Our Lady Of Annihilation” was in the news because of the cover. So before the new album “Merciless” went to the store there were some problems with this cover. Click here and watch the banned cover. I think it just a way to get some media attention for the new album. If you make a cover like this you know it going to be banned. On the left of this page you can see the “new” cover however.

The new album from this New York band isn’t very different then the last album (“Our Lady Of Annihilation”).

It’s still hardcore with catchy riffs. The big difference between the two is that this album has got a much better sound. You can hear vocalist Rob Fusco much better and the album sounds more complete. The problem that a lot of hardcore bands have is that the album is boring after 30 minutes. So my advice to every hardcore band out there is: “Make your album not longer then 30 minutes”.

Nice album for everyone who likes the band or want to learn the band. The latest news about the band is that bassist Matt Miller replaced Brannan as most tattooed member of Most Precious Blood.
