Guitarists Bernie Marsden, Micky Moody and bassplayer Neil Murray were in the first and very succesful Whitesnake line-up between 1978-1982. With David Coverdale as the charismatic singer, they wrote rock history recording songs like "Here I Go Again" or "Fool For Your Loving". After they released the double live album "Here They Go Again" in 2001 as The Company Of Snakes, this is a brand new studio record. Together with drummer John Lingwood (ex-Manfred Mann`s Earthband & Roger Chapman), keyboardist Don Airey (ex-Ozzy Osbourne, Gary Moore & Rainbow) and the Stockholm-born vocalist Stefan Berggren these experienced musicians have written an album full of solid blues, boogie and rock songs. | |
Of course, Marsden, Moody and Murray didn`t copy the old days. That would have been a pretty silly thing to do. No, they`ve written a bunch of energetic and fresh sounding new rock songs such as "Labour Of Love", "Little Miss Happiness" and "Kinda Wish You Would" plus great ballads like "Days To Remember" and "What Love Can Do". Do you love the classic Whitesnake stuff? Then you must buy this record right away. It`s as simple as that. Also try and catch them doing a live show, they still know how to rock.
