This is my first encounter with the Ohio-based hardcore metal band Ringworm and dude, what an encounter it is! From the first seconds of their new album, ‘Justice Replaced By Revenge’, I’m blown away. What an aggressive, brutal and vile album this is, wow!
The aggressive parts are combined with some real kick ass moshparts. From the opening song ‘Justice Replaced By Revenge’ to the last one, ‘Life After The End Of The World’, singer HF pukes out his lyrics in a damned aggressive way which fits perfectly with the already aggressive music. | |
Sporadically a catchy guitar solo comes by, but it fits the music and isn’t annoying or something like that.
The production of this silver disc is great. Every instrument is balanced and the vocals aren’t too soft or too loud. Man, this is some aggressive shit.
Well, while I go out and kick some people, you go to the nearest record store and by this album damn it!
