The time I listened to hardcore and metalcore is behind me, but once in a while I take my chances and listen to some of the new stuff. Scars Of Tomorrow is a new band to me, even though they exist for a couple of years now. After two releases with Thorp Records, the band moved to Victory Records and on that label Scars Of Tomorrow has been quite successful.
The music on ‘The Horror Of Realization’ is a mix between a bit of East Coast hardcore with the popular ‘New Wave Of American Heavy Metal’; which results in a pretty mediocre metalcore album. | |
I really like hardcore and metalcore but, I don’t know, the music on ‘The Horror Of Realization is decent but nothing more than that. I think their music is best described as a mix of Bury Your Dead and Atreyu, which are also two label mates. A nice little fun fact is that Atreyu vocalist Alex Varkatzas does some guest vocals on ‘The Hidden Grudge’
