Cotton Fever is a band from Roosendaal (The Netherlands) and started in 1996. After a few gigs they recorded their first demo “Shit Hurries Everyone”. After that they recorded some other albums/ demo’s which gave them a descend fan base and a lot of gigs. Earlier this year the band started with the recording of the album I’m listening right now.

The music from this band is in the line Bush, Therapy?, Queens Of The Stone Age, Muse etc. There’s another band that I really hear back on this album and that are the Foo Fighters.

Sometimes I even think I hear Dave Grohl’s voice. All the songs are well played and sound great. This really surprises me for a demo recording.

Not only hard played songs on this album. The number “Stardom” proves that this band also can play slow, nice songs. Cotton Fever is a good band with good music, hopefully for these young musicians the mainstream will pick this up.
