Udo Dirkschneider war born on April the 6th in1952, exactly at 1 pm, in a town called Wuppertal (Germany). And the guy is still rocking, with his age of 53 years he still makes music like he’s just 18.
Last summer there was again an Accept reunion and now U.D.O. is back with his new album “Mission No. X”.

This album is a good old school heavy metal album. Songs like “Mean Streets”, “24/ 7”, “Shell Shock Fever”, “Breaking Down The Borders” still prove that U.

D.O is still a very good metalband. But also ballads as “Eye Of The Eagle” and “Cry Soldier Cry” are very good songs. The ballads makes “Mission No. X” a full metal album and say that U.D.O can go on for years.

Guitar player Kaufmann produced this album and he did a very good job. He brings you back to the eighties metal but it still sounds timeless.
Check out U.D.O on tour near your city in spring 2006.
