Writing reviews about excellent or horrible albums is easy. Writing a review about an album that is average in every possible way is hard, very hard. “A Night In The Gutter”, the new album by Dogpound falls into the last category.

There are no bad things to write about the album; most of the songs make sense, sound nice and are well produced.

Problem is, there’s hardly a single note on the album that takes it out of the grey masses. There are few punk rock influences on “A Night In The Gutter” that might cause some excitement, but these moments are too few to raise the rating of the whole.
