If you’re into uninspiring heavy blues rock with hardly any highlight, there’s no harm in checking out Baltimoore’s eight release with the name “Fanatical”. A strange title because ‘indifferenced’ would be more appropriate to characterize this effort. It’s not that the album only bears weak tracks but the lack of tempo makes it a fifty minutes of bore. There are a few nice guitar riffs and on occasion the sand paper vocals of Björn Lodin, whose style reminds a little bit of Steven Taylor, work well with the music. | |
Coming to think of it, the track “Kiss Me” is nothing more than a weak copy of Aerosmith’s excellent “Pink”. I’m not spending more of my precious time on this release. Forget about this, you won’t miss a thing. (Geert) |
