When I looked at the cover, I thought, that it was another one satanic band, trying to catch the attention through the loud exclamations and proclamation of their Satanism. You know, as it was already said, the most religious cultures could raise the most anti-religious people. Both ways are never free. Both ways are just different forms of mental dependence.

Filii Nigrantium Infernalium is a Satanic Anarcho Black-Metal band from Portugal. Maybe the Catholic education makes the guys mention so many religious marks, or they consider this to be original or an indispensable attribute of the metallist. I don’t know. All this childish toys, such as pentagrams, “hedonist bile of utter degeneration’s black venom and necrophile bestiality with nihilist principles, satanicochristian virtues and funerary hangovers” can’t blind sane people. And they can’t eclipse the impression of the fantastic, epic, Chtulian-powerful music of Filii Nigrantium Infernalium.

Let’s say objectively, even this childish playing with the Bible doesn’t make the core of their metal worse. Extra-ordinary, living and dying, crying, broken voice reminds of that Whispering In The Dark. The instrumental work is brilliant (lead guitar sometimes reminds of Gary Holt’s solos). The atmosphere feels like it comes from those caves of the Mountains Of Madness. Blood runs faster, heart beats with the drumbeats, ears celebrate the holiday, though all the lyrics are in Portuguese. Here it doesn’t matter. It even gives some thrilling as the unknown words crawl into your consciousness. Forget all the pseudo-metal standard clones of death-metal you knew before. Here comes the new ruler of the satanic death-metal.
