A new effort from Emorockers Silverstein. And to begin this review with a positive note: If you’re an emo fan you won’t miss anything on this record. Standard riffs, standard melody’s, standard vocal chords. Standard is written all over this record.
A mix of punk rock and emo, quasi happy songs mixed with some ‘misery fueled songs’. But it does not hit a right button. I listened a few times to this record but still can’t remember any of the songs. | |
It’s so much of the same, it’s just as uninspiring as an Italian with olives.
In times where there are 2000 emo releases per month this will not make anything. After a promising first album, they fail to built up their status.
As said it is too standard, it touches nothing. It is not sufficient to survive an emo wave.
