Strange querimonious laughter at night. Probably the consequence of ignoring heavenly light. Somehow a sad spectral reality kept reflecting the presence of a shade called the Brown Lady.
Dorithy, the Brown Lady, is a ghost that haunts the old English mansion Raynham Hall. She died of drooling insanity after being locked up by her angry husband because of adultery. A sad, true story, brought to life by Carach Angren (meaning iron jaws). The band hails from the most southern parts of the Netherlands and consists of Ardek (Synths, Piano), Seregor (Guitars, Bass, Vocals) and Namtar (Drums). | |
Carach Angren plays highly melodic and atmospheric black metal. The music is full of changes in pace and melody. The songs on this demo are overall quite melodic but have a sad and ghostly touch on them which works on your imagination. The music can be compared to bands like Bal-Sagoth`s "Battle Magic", Covenant on "Nexus Polaris" and Skyfire. Overall the instruments are well played and the demo has a good, clear production.
