Despite rather good rhythms and melodies, Crazy World couldn’t really convince me. Most of the tracks are pretty decent in itself and the overall sound is of fine quality but as an entirety this debut just falls a few inches short.

The promotional sticker on the cover of the album states with pride that this project features members of Wigwam, Pekka Pohjola Group, Stratovarius and Five Fifteen.

To be true, all these different musicians and influences just don’t mingle very well. A few solid ballads, some harsh hard rock, some AOR; a little bit of everything. This results in an imbalanced mixture of songs more usual for best of ... compilation albums. Too bad, cause this gathering of musicians definitely has potential.
