There is a genre which is pretty unknown but will rise soon:Horrorpunk!. The reason: ‘A Night At Grand Guignol’ from the Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space. Does that ring a bell? Right Dickies! I don’t know if they’re named after the famous punk band from the seventies but the music does remind me of them, only this time in a modern jacket.

Bloodsucking Zombies is a mix of melodic punkrock, streetpunk and some rockabilly tunes. Reference? Think of the Dickies who are playing some tennis with the Ducky Boys and Wednesday 13 is coaching both teams.

Of course; it results in a fight.

The lyrics are about Dracula, ‘Billy the Butcher’ or ‘Dead by Dawn’ etc. Exactly the things these bands must sing about. And there is also an image but you have to see that yourself if you buy this cd (with perfect lay out!).

Every time I put this cd on I thought it got better and every time it’d put a smile on my face. Get your Dracula outfit, rent some movies like ‘zombies from outer space’ or ‘night of the living dead’ and put this cd on. Have a great time!
