If there is one band who knows how to play death metal it is Decapitated. These young guys from Poland already played almost all over the world and released some nice albums before. Their newest effort called is “Organic Hallucinosis” and it’s a killer.

Decapitated plays fast, technical correct and before you know it’s already over. Every song on this album has got its own groove and its own sound. It isn’t only the same double bass like you hear a lot on other death metal albums/ bands, that’s why you can separate Decapitated from other bands and that’s what puts them at the top.

Sometimes you can compare the sound with Meshuggah, Nile and Severe Torture.

On this album you can hear for the first time new singer Adrian “Covan” Kowanek . He’s not the best singer for this kind of music as his voice sometimes falls a bit short and I think he’s got a lot of problems with his voice (it sounds if he’s trying too hard to sound brutal). I’m very curious to see what the upcoming ten years will bring. While these guys are still very young, they must have got a lot for us in their minds.
