“When there’s no more room in Hell the dead will walk the earth”. Those are the first words on this album, this in combination with the cover art and the album title I still got the Idea I’m listening to another death metal release. But no ‘Opposition Party’ is a Singaporean hardcore/punk band.

Like I said, this is my first meet with Asian hardcore-punkers from ‘Opposition Party’, perhaps I should be ashamed because this band has been around since 1986 in all those years the band has released lots of cd’s, ep’s and they’ve had their share in lots of compilation albums.

Through the years ‘Opposition Party’ has played different styles of punkrock, but on “Zombified” they return to their roots. The result is an album consisting of eleven uncompromising hardcore/punk songs. Fortunately they also mix some thrash elements in their songs making the album a bit more diverse, besides that Opposition Party brings us nothing spectacular, but fans from bands as ‘Biohazard’, ‘The Exploited’ or ‘100 Demons’ will surely have a good time listening to this un-dead release from Singapore.
