Pffffffffffffffffff. You al want to know where I’m getting tired of? (probably not, but I’ll tell anyway). Bands that are making music without any form of originality and six dozens of arrogance, like newcoming band MXD. Stating in their bio:
‘At a meeting point between different styles and the faithful amplified whisper of a pregnant apocalypse, `Frustration Is Fuel` is the perfect soundtrack without any ambiguity for a black movie on a world in full decomposition’
Are you getting scared? Don’t. | |
You shouldn’t be. Tragically, MXD compares themselves with Young Gods, Rammstein and Chemical Brothers. Maybe some keyboard parts made me think of Rammstein. Chemical brothers? Naaaw, MXD don’t have the same catchy tunes. And Young Gods? They just don’t come near them.
‘Frustration is Fuel’ (kinda teenage angst name) is a combination of drum and bass, samples, dance music, some prodigy riffs and bad lyrics. And not top class, somewhere in between. The sea is getting full.
