I-Def-I is a band from Manchester (UK).After hearing this album I can say that this band wants to take something from every popular genre. The genres they use are: metalcore, emocore and “nu-metal”. Sometimes it sounds like Killswitch sometimes like Green Lizard next part sounds like the first Korn albums. That’s what I call a mix of popular genres.

The music on this album is played well. I think I-DEF-I is a better band then your average band but they are nowhere near a super band.

That’s because they don’t really have got an own sound. Singer Chris Maher has got a nice voice for the grunts but in the clean parts he has to learn a lot more.

This 6 song MCD sounds good but it isn’t a very special one. I think the band can produce these very good in a live set. The songs have got a very good vibe for a powerful live session. So if you’re in the UK or in Europe check them out.
