In advance of the new album “Karmacode” the Italian band Lacuna Coil released the single “ “Our Thuth”. I can be very clear, this is Lacuna Coil at her best: emotional, heavy riffs, strong melody and great production.
Both singers Andrea and Christina are singing sometimes heavy than again mysterious and beautiful. Because of the lack of any guitar- or keyboard solos, the heavy bass-playing halfway the song is a welcome alternation.

The sound reminds me of the strong The Gathering album “Mandylion”. This single is making me very curious to their new album. I’m sure “Our Truth” will do very well at live shows.

There is one little point of criticism, nowadays bands put a few songs on a cd-single and maybe I’m spoiled, but therefore I think to release a single with just 1 song which takes only 3:23 minutes is quite cheap.
