The Italian band Biderben was born in 1999 and started as a punk rock cover-band. In 2002 Biderben started writing their own songs and in 2006 it’s time for their debut release throughout Black Lotus Recordings. “Out Of The Lies” starts with a fast played punk song. I suspected that the whole album would be full of this kind of nice fast played songs. But when the second song started I thought there was a mistake with my stereo. “Lose Your Illusions” has got a screaming hardcore voice in the song.

This doesn’t sound wrong in my opinion.

Now I was very curious towards the next songs on the album. The whole album contains songs which are mixes of punk, metal and ska. Most of the songs are fast played and the lyrics are varied in English and Italian.

Nice album although I don’t think that Biderben did their best with mixing these genres.
They can do better I think, but hey: It’s punk.
