Even if you don’t have anything against tribute albums it’s hard to feel some appreciation for this rather useless David Lee Roth tribute. First of all most of the bands and musicians that contributed to this twelve track disc are of little name. Second because half of the six Van Halen covers have been previously released on the 2003 “Best of Both Worlds – a tribute to Van Halen”.

Third, the six new songs, all covering Roths solo career are too clinically played. There’s hardly any twist or original interpretation here. This is why `Just Like Paradise` is a futile album. My guess is that this one will only please those collectors that don’t mind the poor quality and just want to own everything related to their hero.
