Tiamat has been among us since the beginning of the nineties and since that time they’ve become one of the biggest, most successful and important gothic metal bands. Their last album is from 2003 and as every big band nowadays it was time for a live DVD.

The recorded live footage is form a gig done on January 13th in Poland and it has become a really strong DVD. The sound of the DVD is really great and the songs they play are a cross section of Tiamat throughout the years. The concert starts with “Vote For Love” and from the beginning on the ambiance is really great, the audience really wants to see the show. After “Vote For Love” the set goes on with “Children Of The Underworld”, “Cain” and “Brighter Then The Sun”.

All classics are played and Tiamat ends the show with “Gaia” and a very cool guitar solo.

Ofcourse there is some bonus material on this DVD. In the bonus section you’ll find next to pictures and desktop items for your computer an interview with Johan Edlund and Anders Iwers. They talk openly about almost everything in a nice and good interview. Then there’s still more in the bonus section. There’s for example live footage from the first Tiamat show ever and other live shows throughout the years, some promo videos and some footage from the “Deeper Kind Of Slumber” recording session. This is really a great DVD if you’re a fan and even when you never heard of this band it’s worth a look.
