Maroon, formally known as xMaroonx, brings us a new album called “When Worlds Collide”. Maroon is one of the metalcore bands who signed with a major label. After a re-release of “Endorsed By Hate” through Century Media, this is their newest effort for the aforementioned label. Maybe it’s a little bit early, but I think this is going to be one of the best albums of 2006.
Maroon recorded this album in Denmark at the Studio of Jacob Hansen (Hatesphere), like every good sounding metalcore album is made in Denmark (is there something in the air or water?).
With this album, Maroon brings metal and hardcore closer then ever. | |
This is an album full of moshparts and definitely one to buy. It starts with opener “24HourHate” and after this it won’t stop with nice moshparts and brutal vocals. Once this CD is in your compact disc player it won`t come out again for a long time. Check out this band when they play in your area (most of the time they are on tour).
There are two things I want to mention about `When Worlds Collide`. Roger Miret is doing some guest vocals in the song “There is Something You Will Never Erase” and labelmates Mercenary did some back-up vocals and some keyboard stuff.
