After just a few chords it becomes terribly obvious that there is little to nothing to appreciate on The Alien Blakks debut album ‘Modes Of Alienation’. The poor production, the boring ‘rhythm section’ and the absolute lack of inspired guitar playing (there are probably some technical skills required, but my guess is that even a four year old can produce this kind of crap) make this release absolutely useless. | |
This album features a strange mix of poorly composed songs, flat sounds, and crappy guitar compositions. It’s hard to imagine that the ‘brain’ behind this instrumental crap is a well known session musician who has worked with Testament, Whitesnake and Cypress Hill, named Joshua Podolsky. This is one to avoid!
