This album has been out already for a while and it’s my personal mistake that the review wasn’t earlier online. So: “I’m sorry”.
These German guys are among us since 1993 and their latest effort (called “34CE”) was released about three years ago. In the meantime this band did a lot of touring and celebrated their 10th anniversary. Shortly after the anniversary their drummer left the band. Within a short time they found a new drummer and the band was complete again.
I never heard “34CE” but I heard a lot of positive things about it, so my expectations for this album were very high. | |
“Milgram” starts with a very boring intro which lasts more then 2 minutes. These days al lot of bands are putting intro’s on their albums, can anybody tell why they do that? The rest of the songs are monotonous. Sometimes when I’m listening to this album I’m thinking: now it’s coming, but it’s never coming.
This album sounds if the band plays without a doubt. Don’t get me wrong because musically it’s really not bad. Maybe my expectations were too high after all the stories.
