Blind Trash is a band from Tilburg (The Netherlands) and “Recover Your Spirit” is their second D.I.Y album. I love bands who release their own stuff when they can’t find a label. So a big thumbs up for Blind Trash.

I never heard Blind Trash before so I didn’t know what to expect. While listening to this album there really one anything thing. The anything thing is the singer. The voice of vocalist Roelof de Brouwer are really annoying to my ears. Sometimes the guy screams and that`s really OK, but the clean parts are often out of tune and plain boring.

The music this band plays is rock music with some hardcore and emocore influences. The songs they play are decent but not really that good. After four songs the music becomes a tad tedious.

After hearing this album I think this band should be alright on a summer festival as background sound while lying in the grass before the great bands are coming.
