This extreme power metal band, formed in the summer of 2004, was founded with the intention of introducing aggressive European influenced melodic speed/power metal to the Midwest USA, where the style is relatively nonexistent. By May of 2005 Cellador released the demo "Leaving All Behind". Brian Slagel (Metal Blade Records owner) was impressed by their skill and musicianship, and offered the band a contract.

Amazingly fast, melodic, solid and very impressive. These are the words that fit this album. The comparison with Dragonforce can be made quickly, the hands of the Cellador-guitarists are racing up and down the fret board just as fast as the three from Dragonforce.

A big difference between Cellador and other power metal bands are the lyrical themes. Where most cull their lyrics from tales of knights, wizardry and epic battles, Cellador sings about individualism, freedom and integrity. Lead vocalist Gremio`s lyrics reflect on personal issues and effects of current world events on our daily lives.
