1208 a band from the South Bay from California who had the great possibility of signing up with a major label like Epitaph. Although Epitaph is a various label, that seems to have almost every rock music style signed, bringing out a full length under there name is still a great thing to do. These 4 boys don’t make refreshing new punk rock music. Their strength is performing melodic punk mixed up with hardcore like we’re used to in a very brilliant way. It sounds all real powerful and progressive without losing the feeling for bringing out emotional music elements. I think that’s also the reason why Fletcher from the well known band pennywise putted his time in recording this record. 12 tracks full off easy listening music, with catchy choruses, and a comfortable voice to listen to. There is nothing bad to say about this band, except maybe I think there lyrics could be a little bit more worked out, the lyrics to me are a little bit to easy I just miss the poetic profound style bands playing in this genre use to have.

The lyrics contain some real great subjects and personal stuff. Some words to me are just too easily chosen. To me 1208 does nothing special it seems like they need this extra ingredient to let me listen to the record over and over again. To me this is one of the so many bands performing great melodic catchy music with turns out to be boring when you hear it too much. Than again if that is what you like if that is what turns you on than Feedback is Payback is a record you should listen too. I even think you’re going to love this band because they all perform it really smooth and hell yeah they know how to play a good steal of punk rock!
