Delicate Zone is a Dutch progressive metal band, with “Wallpaper to the World”. Hille (vocals), Edwin (guitar), John (bass) and Remmert (drums) release their first full cd that the band has recorded in own management. After the demo “Entering the Zone” (2002) the guys decided to record a full album by themselves (writing, recording, and distribution). The reason to do so is that Delicate Zone would like to make songs without any restrictions.

The songs are quite progressive with heavy riffs, great bass riffs (superb groove, listen to Cell in the System) and metal, rock and funk influences, but don’t expect some clone of Dream Theater however.

My favorite songs are “Cell In The System”, “Distructed” and “Send Cops On Me”, all songs with complex structures with varied mean and sensitive parts. With “Jack’s Call” Delicate Zone has its own beautiful ballad, an island of serine rest on the album.

If you would like to listen this album, visit the internet site of the band (www.delicatezone.com) and download the album for free.
