It’s always hard to write reviews of middle of the pack releases. Valient Thorr’s “Legend Of The World” is one of those albums. It’s hard to pick out tracks that excite you but you can’t find any real weak tracks on the disc eighter. Writing a proper review therefore is a rather hard thing to do.

What more is there to say. Valient Thorr stands for proper, yet slightly uninspiring punk rock ‘n’ roll. The twelve tracks differ just enough not to label “Legend Of The World” as boring.

Nevertheless after a few spins you’ll find yourself longing for something with a bit more body, tracks with more diversity and a sound more dynamic. Although the band advises to listen to their new album with a cranked up volume, I think most of you will probably prefer to listen to it playing in the background once in a while.
