The Spanish band Tierra Santa has recorded eight albums since 1997. The band`s main influence is Iron Maiden. I personally liked the album Indomable, from 2003, the best. Back then Tierra Santa was the Spanish version of Iron Maiden, The Spanish lyrics didn’t matter, I think it even was the charm of the band. The vocals on the new album Mejor Morir En Pie don’t have this charm anymore, they are presented in a too empathetic way.

The music isn’t that bad but I have heard it all before and better.

Conclusion: Mejor Morir En Pie surely isn’t the best album of Tierra Santa, let’s hope the next record will sound like the former stuff again.
