ROCK & ROLL BABY! Yeahhh... So many bands have tried to copy Entombed, and so many have failed (Vermin for instance). Instead, Revolver takes the road that seems to be the middle between mid-90s Entombed and what the ex-Entombed members are doing now. Yep, try to imagine, the fat wall of sound that was trademark on Wolverine Blues/To Ride, Shoot Straight & Speak The Truth and the punk attitude of Backyard Babies and the Hellacopters.

In 14 songs, German-based fourpiece Revolver managed to release music that will not just satisfy lovers of both genres, it will make them long for more! With Jens Mortensen (ex-Slapdash) on vocals, there is no doubt about quality. Thomas Skogsberg provided the proper mix, and even though his `wall of sound`-approach sounds messy at low volumes, it does the band perfectly just when you pump the volume open wide.

But Revolver is more than their music: lyrically the "let`s have fun"-attitude of the Backyard Babies shines through brilliantly. "Junior", "Freakshow", "Instant Idiots", "Sucks To Be You", you immediately wish for a hot summer day, driving your Mustang through the desert with nothing but the sun in your neck, a beer in your hand and a hot chick on the chair next to you...

Do you think that Entombed have gone the wrong way after their To Ride-album? Do you like Swedish punk? Do you think that no man with a good car needs to be justified? This is for you! "It`s Better To Burn Out Than Fade To Grey", and there`s no better way burning out than with The Unholy Mothers Of Fuck.
