Almost every hardcore and metal fan was waiting for the new Hatebreed (if you never heard of Hatebreed you need to get out of your lazy chair and go see a show sometimes, or just go to www.hatebreed.com). After the disappointing “Rise Of Brutality” Hatebreed is back with their newest effort “Supremacy”
With the new guitar player Frank “3 Gun” Novinec (ex-Terror) and producer Zeuss who recorded this album. And what do you think you can expect when you go into the studio with these guys? Precisely, an album almost just as good as their debut album.
The last years Hatebreed, or should I say Jamey Jasta was a lot in the news. The band was nominated for a Grammy in 2005 and mister Jasta himself was on TV with his MTV show Headbangers Ball. | |
Next to this the band toured around the whole world as a headliner and after that the band toured around the world again with Slayer. So I think these guys never sleep at all.
“Supremacy” is a hard album. You can sing a long with songs as “Defeatist”, “Horrors of Self” and “Give Wings To My Triumph”. The songs are sounding complete with moshparts, guitarsolo’s and offcourse Jamey Jasta’s vocals.
Jasta’s voice is still one of the most brutal voices I’ve ever heard. The guy putts al his energy in his voice and screams it out. His words seem to be sincere.
I can be very short in my last words. If you don’t already have this new Hatebreed album then get it. If you already have it, enjoy it.
