How many bands are from Ameland (Netherlands)? That is the first question that popped into my mind when I recieved the first full length album by the Dutch Pinheadz. As you might have guessed by the name, the Pinheadz is a punk band. The band was formed at a local party. This is probably where this band is at its best. Listening to the tracks it isn’t hard to imagine these three lads energizing any pub. The album is something else though.

There are some nice tunes, even with some likable breaks (a rarity in the punk scene), but overall there are some sections that could use some improvement. A couple of tunes are too messy and lean too much on the humoristic lyrics. There is still enough to enjoy to recommand this album to party punkers. Visiting on of the Pinheadz gigs is something I can recommand everybody.
