There are only three things to say about this album really. The title is original, the cover and artwork are amazing and the music is ... well ... diversive (in the way that the album features as many good as bad tracks. This Dutch groovy-powermetal band that aroze out of the ashes of Dimension Seven came up with a couple of nu-metal/death metal killers like the powerful “BLDLST”, the slightly mysterious “NMBRNN” (the picture of the band seems to be inspired by this one) and the rather crisp “DRGD”. | |
Nice things to write about KYU, beside the fact that they came up with a couple of pretty good tunes, is that the sound of the album is close to perfect, the skills of the mucisians and the vocalist are far beyond average and STTNNRMLLLFCKDP has got potential. Less nice to write is that the album lacks consistency. There are too many tracks on it that don’t come close to the afore mentioned highlights.
