One thing I have to give Code Of Perfection credit for is the happy vibe that is created within each and every song. Too bad that I’m way more into emotional, expressive or even depressive guitar playing. I know that there is nothing wrong with the skills of the mucisians and that the band probably succeeded in their intentions, but I’m simply not touched by the music. The vocals that turn up from time to time gives the music a somewhat dated feel. Not too bad, but not something that truly excites me.

The vocal melodies of “Miracle Times” are nice in a sort of Bon Jovi kind of way. You secretly like them. The music isn’t far off from the Bon Jovi stuff eihter, Code Of Perfection is women rock. It also bringes Asia into mind, too soft to really impress. “Heart In Atlantis” is a fine example, gentile melodies, nice structure, but it lacks balls. My bet is that if you’ve listened to this album a few times, most of the tunes will hollow.
